Hungary (May 2015)

At the invitation of the Hungarian Tourism Organisation and the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter, the Art Press Caravan visited Pécs, Villány and Harkány — gems of Hungary’s southernmost region, rich in food for body and soul, in wine and in centuries of culture and art. Once again, the Caravan found itself in an incredible meeting of youth and distant history. In one of the largest student cities in Hungary, the spirit of Christianity still lives on; the two millennia of this city’s history, built together by the ancient Slavs and the Hungarians, is truly a place one should return to again and again.
